The answer and the problem

How is it the answer to all my problems
Is the cause for so many more
How is it that the cause of a dozen problems
Can open up any door

The solution to asphyxiation
Is simply just to take a breath
But the only solution to my depression
Seems to be emminent death

If I force myself to breathe
I'll be miserable forever
Why do I have to hurt a loved one
Just for us to be together

If I hurt her I will suffer
If I hurt you I think I'll die
if I leave her her tears will fall freely
But if I stay I know will cry

so how can I do this to someone
So perfect and so pure
Is an ounce of prevention
Worth a pound of cure

I guess I will never know
For me what is monetary gain
I will hurt everyone else
If I remove all my pain

So heres where this tragedy ends
The final piece in this puzzle of life
I found the answer to all my problems
The answer must be eternal strife
