Brothers of Our Mind

by SilentSuicide   Jan 25, 2009

The rage of hate. The happiness of love
Brothers in disguise
You love them. Your thinking about them.
You hate them. Still thinking about them.

They never leave your mind.
Feelings so bitter sweet
The brothers known as love and hate
Overwhelm us behind our backs.

You hate it. You love it.
Either way in the midst of things
You never forget about it.
You can never stop thinking about it.

Into your dreams they both go.
Lurking left and right.
Some of you shiver with pleasure.
The others with fright.

Love and hate lingers down your back.
Just a thought makes you flinch.
The brothers of death; brothers of life.
Never understood, never rid of.

Your stomach twists and turns
Butterflies on fire.
Screaming in a tone so silent
It's only heard to your ears.

The rage of hate. The happiness of love
Brothers of our mind.
We can never get rid of them.
We will never separate them.
