Tis a dream, til a dream no longer.

by Mitelia   Jan 27, 2009

I fear I do love the sea, ohh much
her word is swift;
waves beat at my ankles,
birds scream for resolve.
It's a mystical
(world.)
I sleep as the dead
and wake when i please.
I have no master.
I am no slave.
The Sea is free, and wild
as am I.
She brings me nourishment
and i do not make
bloody Her shores.
We are as one, The Sea and I.
Her harsh winds strife with me so,
but She will not let them take me
as I will not stand to be taken.
I care for Her creatures due mornings
and I sing songs of
pirates and battles and crossed stars and fate
and She moans by and by
begging for more
and I tell tales of
damsels and maids and voyages and hope
and She yearns by and by
to know more of these lies
I feed her bare and broken
on wings of lasting frailty.
She devours them whole.
I do love The Sea,
Her heart is pure and
I only pray for as much.
She wills me to sleep in Her arms.
I find myself in a splendid hell.
Fire laps at my ankles and
I cannot reach the shore
no matter how fast I run.
I am over taken by the flame
(ifearidolovethesea,ohhmuch)
and here I plead for Death.
