Life sure can be odd
One day its that
The next day its this
Life is war in combat

You want to think for yourself
But some convene you other wise
Wanting to believe what you hear
But your only fed more lies

You dont understand everything
But want to know it all
Standing as high as you can
But questioning the fall

Trying to tell yourself
Things are the way they are
But reality is setting in
And its not that far

It feels like you have things set
And you are on the right path
But when you are happy
Your eyes dont present the sad

So stop looking in the mirror
And searching for the fake
You can not find it
Reflections dont show the mistakes

Just open up your eyes
And admit the truth you seek
Because things will only get worse
The more you hide that you are weak
