Lost In Memories

by SummerxSunsets   Jan 29, 2009

Deep within me is a burning flame,
Trying to let go of all this awful shame.
A smile breaks through each and every painful tear,
Forgetting all those lost memories, getting rid of all your fears.

Autumn breeze sweeps through my soft hair,
As I walked down the road, wishing I still had secrets to share.
Our secret place was cover in Technicolor leaves.
I could still hear our laughter in the gentle breeze.

As I soak all those dear memories,
With all those insane, daring stories.
Your glowing face appears in the wind,
But I can't smile without you to help me unwind.

I still hear you whispering to me,
You drifted with words left unsaid, but now you're free.
I don't know how my flame will grow without you,
Because now its left dying, but ill try to get through.

These days expand, but my happiness starts to shrink,
As I take down those photos, I start to think.
Tears fall fast from my eyes; this easy task seems so painful,
But without him, I'm full of sorrow, trying to be hopeful.
