Losing Passion

In the beginning, our dreams came true
And you and I can attest to that, we two

The mark of despair had never replaced
The laughter we so readily embraced

Then came the days when it would end
Nearing the conclusion, our hopes descend

The tears and words had left their stains
Passion changing into anguish and pain
