And She's Gone...

by SweetGrief   Jan 29, 2009

She went in a deadly cold night
went and took a ride
farther than the skies she arrived
and still I wonder why have they lied?

Black heavy tear, ditched my eye
and I blame you...
What have I done, why so soon?
Every time I'm afraid, I wish you were in the room

do you remember when I used to run away
when I used to hide between you arms
do you remember when you gave me your shoulder to lay
but suddenly you vanished, and my core you slay

I love it still when you used to curse
when you begged pardon and became so red
I love when you used to yell
Your voice is a sweet tune, like November's wind

My heart you used to tend
you reached the life within me
But now that you're gone
I've truly felt, how hard is it to live

I'm waiting till the waves will blow and take it all away
I'm waiting for the waves to reach the oceans of your tears
I'm waiting till six more years will pass
maybe I'll forget your shape that I still see through the glass
I love you...

Wow Awda this poem is truly heartfelt indeed.I can feel the emotions and the love that you had for this person. It was really unique how you portray this love; of her cursing and yelling at you. My guess is the person whom you are talking abt is your grandma but then again i might be wrong. Well sometimes love is being expressed in funny /weird way...where we would only understand it later in life or in your case when the person has passed away.Well ireally enjoyed your latest piece. It was beautifully penned down.Keep it up

    Excellent Job
