Fury

by Beautiful Chaos   Feb 2, 2009

A still mind
Disturbed
Manic breathing
Oh
It's mine

Can hearts explode?
Mine is about to rage
Right out of my chest
I did it

The air
It smelled almost sweet
A hint of metallic residue
It was all coming back to me

Hands covered
Red-brown paint
Yes
The paint of life

You never did listen
Laughed at my weakness
Who is laughing now?
Well no one really
Maybe the fates

I was your siren
Calling you forth to your doom
Life
Screaming of your failure

Don't touch me
And now
Here we are
Your blood on my hands

Slowly drying
Returning to dust
Time standing still
I have found your restraint
