Black Rose Immortal

by qawsee   Feb 2, 2009

Immortal ties unto the wall
covered with fiendish thorns
Its been there since the Fall
and Lucifer spawned his horns

The garden of hell had but one flower
a flower scorched pitch black
the glow of the flower kept him from free
because Lucifer kept coming back

Lucifer's bride, oh darling Lilith
for your hand only one thing will do
I'll rip it from the immortal pillith
and bring it back here for you

Lucifer grabbed at the rose
and ripped it from the wall
hell itself froze in time, and
Lucifer, he saw it all

The rose as it faded
has opened hells gates
now hell is berated
by souls and their fates.

The rhyme works for this piece. Enjoyed the first and last stanzas. They stood out more to me than the others. Nice imagery.
