Life is roaring down the track
Blood is slipping through the crack
All we see is what we lack
What will forever be?

To time, I never was a friend
Mad someday it all would end
Nothing gold could ever mend
The years that slipped away

I met a man who claimed to see
Everything the world could be
If only God would set us free
