We try..but for what?

In the briefest of moments
we go from living and loved
to dead in whatever form

We can have everything we want
and then lose it all moments later
and walk around shattered forever more

Speculation says as females we try harder
will ourselves to be strong
and feel so much in the smallest space

We work for our relationships
We love unconditionally
and yet we lose it all and manage to live
even if we are zombies for a time..

Life never works the way we want it to
We continue to lose what we love
In the blink of an eye its gone

We attempt to find strength where there is none..
we seek for what we cannot have
we rise again when we fail

we continue to try
but it seems to get us no where in the end
for happy one moment we are
and the next we've become shattered pieces on the ground
and we attempt to rise again...
