Man

by Deana   Feb 8, 2009

Amazed at the depth of his understanding
His insight into a weakened heart
In awe of his creative voice
Spoken as if he were God, with authority

Softened by his gentle protection
By his strength in times of trials
He walks as the ruler of the world, his world
This creature so real and yet so illusive

So afraid to face an emotional journey
To reveal a heart that might get broken
Admit to reaching out to humanities weak
To seek what his counterpart has long known, that
tears heal

To relinquish his superiority over the universe
and revere equality
accept that the woes of life breeds wisdom
Peter Pan in never never land, Samson,
hair intact. Gods image...man

    Deana,
I am amazed at this beautiful piece of work. In awe of the talent you posess in this piece and you bring it forth so elegantly. Everyone talks about the wonder of a woman but you have perfected the essence of a man. Without them we are weak, they are truly what makes us. Wonderful Job!!

    Really liked this. These lines:

"He walks as the ruler of the world, his world
This creature so real and yet so illusive"

I thought were the best until I read these:

"To seek what his counterpart has long known, that
    tears heal"
    Absolutely brilliant.
Overall an informative and creative write.

    Always,
    Jeannie
