Perfection

by jessica   Feb 8, 2009

Picture perect models fill our magazines,
Eating disorders and drugs fill the teen scene,
Trying our best to be the picture of perfection,
Happening everywhere there is no protection,
Its not forced upon us we make our own choice,
Some try too hard they forget they have a voice,
Commanded by a superficial source,
We have never met who dictates our course,
Teens need to be shown its okay to be who you are,
How we treat ourselves now? Destruction is not far,
Our next generation will never have a chance,
If we continue to stay in this 'perfection' trance
