Intertwined Hearts

Momentarily standing still, closing my eyes for
Something special is coming to me,
Anxiety arose as you kept me waiting, a time which
Lasted an eternity as I kept standing
I didn't know what to expect from you
Cause you were always full of surprises
Intoxicated was how I felt as we kissed
And all of time and space stood still

Aligned together so perfectly yet we
Never had any prior knowledge of each other
Destiny must be on our sides for sure because

Nothing could go wrong, everything was perfect
Inner peace was achieved through this very kiss
Couldn't believe such an Angel could exist
Even God himself is looking for this lost Angel
Guess my prayers were being answered but
Unfortunately like a dream everything came to an end
You were taken away from me for it wasn't our time

Heart broken that you were gone from my existence
Everyday praying countless times but it seemed hopeless
As time went by and all light gone from my heart
Resting on the roof, looking at the stars and making a last wish
Twinkling way up above stood a lone star
Shining so bright amongst all the other stars

It then suddenly snowed in the summer night
Nothing of this nature could ever happen
Though it was happening right before my very eyes
Everything seemed like a fairytale
Reminiscence about the past, it all came back to me
Tears streaming down, recalling the Angel that was lost
Wondering how I first met this Angel
I then heard a sweet Angelic voice calling out a name
Nervous yet curious, bracing myself for the unknown
Everything around me including time stood still
Decided it was just my mind playing games with me

And I thought I was totally delusional because
Sake had been in my system for a while yet

Opening my eyes, stood a beautiful sight
None of which couldn't be outdone
Even if you could wish for it...

You embraced me and whispered:
"I'm so sorry hunny, I never meant
To leave you so soon but it wasn't our time
Back then but I've come back my love and
This time I'm staying in here -points to heart- forever
