Remember When We First Fell in Love?

Just the other day, I was thinking about us
and what it was like
falling in love with you.
I can`t help smiling each time I remember it..
and I remember it
just like it was yesterday.
I remember when saying good-bye
for a few hours seemed like an eternity.
I remember watching the clock
and counting every minute
till we could be together again.
But most of all, I remember that feeling,
that "butterflies in the stomach" feeling,
that only falling in love can give.
Memories of those yesterdays
are a special part
of the love we share today.
I know that love
becomes more beautiful as it grows.
