A Book of Love Poems

by Stacie   Feb 10, 2009

I have book of sad love poems,
confessions to never be heard,
Filled with endless ripped pages,
for every discarded word

You will never see the book,
you`ll be blinded by flawed perception,
My words disappear with your touch,
Another ploy in my deception

Trickery is always essential
in the lie I am now living,
Just as happiness is only free
if the one you love is giving

Everyday when I come to school,
the truth is I don`t want to pretend,
I want you to see through the act,
so that my book can come to an end

I realy liked this poem your chioce of wording worked really well and adding a little more depth to the piece =] The overall structure and flow was also carried through very well as was the rhyming scheme!
