I remember when I was younger
I used to play those games
Pretend the animals all had lives and problems
And eventually saved the day
Now I'm older and in real life the problems are far more real
And I'm constantly questioning
How all of those animals seemed to deal
I remember they just learned to forgive and forget
Never to regret
But I guess I'm learning quickly
My thoughts are slipping
On thin ice
