What I should have done

by Michael D Nalley   Feb 13, 2009

Did you ever think what
You should have done
What you could have done
It will drive you insane

I suppose rhyme and reasons
Repeat like the seasons
Like everything under the sun
As what we could have done

We can imagine in our mind
What if life came with a rewind?
That is just a random thought
Of course a life does not

Yet when focused on reason
There seems to be treason,
In the vain minds of men
Of what might have been

We are all doomed for heavens sakes
If we cannot make our own mistakes
Glory be to the Father and the Son
For what we should have done
