I don't mean to write such sappy lines,
and complain about my day,
i just want to get it all out there,
and see what you have to say.
i never intended to let you go,
and watch you walk away,
i was looking out for my good friend,
and i hope that that's okay.
i wouldn't want to see you cry,
and have nothing to say,
but i'd really hate to look at you,
and your eyes shoot my way.
i don't know what these words mean,
i'm just writing what i know.
and if they don't mean, a thing to you..
well then we have just let go..
