Own Private Hell

I look in the mirror
and see my past
thinking of all the pain
that happened so fast
You can look at me
and see the scars
that crashed my world
like falling stars
Leaving me here broken
with tears buried inside
causing me to choke
on all the things I hide
I try to stand strong
so that you can't see
the darkness left inside
the shell that is me
But it's hard to hide
When I let blood drip
out my arms everyday
so I can get a grip
The reality I'm living
I will never leave
so I fake a smile at myself
trying to make me believe
That when I look at you
You wont be able to tell
that deep within me
is my own private hell
