David, My First Love

I once met a wonderful guy,
Who stole my heart away,
He made my life better,
Just by being there.

We were so happy together,
He always made me laugh,
Even when I was sad.

I thought things would never end,
But I guess I was wrong.

I know in my heart,
I will always love him,
Even if he doesn't love me.

I try to live my life,
As if I never met you,
But nothing I do works,
I will always love you.
