Just came to send a message, and what do I see? A poem that I'd heard of before. I then twigged that it was my name (I can be a bit slow sometimes!) So I thought I might as well take a peek at it anyways :D

^^ Love it. It catches the reader's attention, and not only that, it sums up the longing all in the second line. After this, I could easily imagine the happiness the thought alone could be, all because of that clever little 'just'. Well done :)

Swim the everlasting Nile.

^^ Just... Perfect. Nothing to comment on here, apart from swimming would be very tiring, commitment there haha. Lovely.

This is a excellent poem Joe, so full of meaning and love, yet not deviating or going off track. Short and sweet is often the best when it comes to poems. This reminds me of, funnily enough, the song To Be With You by Mr Big, which is why I chose my name in the first place.

This gets a 5/5 from me, and my weekly vote because it's the sweetest poem I've read in a while :)

Not my favorite of your poems. It conveys a strong emotion and has a good rhyme scheme. What makes it endearing is the thought one might remake the stars themselves to be with the one they love. ^^

Short, yet so flowing and well worded. I felt the raw emotion behind this poem. I know how you feel when you wrote this and I love seeing someone else as committed. This was a 5/5 for me.
