Maybe In Another Lifetime

by Countess of Monte Cristo   Feb 16, 2009

The location is not right.
Our situation is so wrong.
Though we come from different backgrounds.
Together we belong.

I am not in love with you.
Neither you are with me.
But the sparks in both our eyes
Together they agree.

Maybe in another lifetime.
We might fall in love.
Or else we'll just be patient.
And meet in heavens above.

This world we cannot fight.
To be you and me.
Both of us are tired, scarred souls.
With not alot of energy.

This thing.. Let's keep it silent.
And secretive.. Just like this.
The nervousness and the excitement.
Our eyes watching each other.. Is the kiss.

So goodbye now..
This silent thing we had was so nice.
But this is life, fella.
For everything.. You have to pay a price.
