And I feel like I'm fading away with the stars

Like the stars disappear into the black sky
And life's dragging me down like a vortex
And I start to question why?
How did I end up here?
Do you ever wonder how your life would be if you chose a different path?
If you hadn't changed schools? Or if you'd stayed with old friends?
Would you be happy now?
Or would you still feel sad?
Would you have found the one? Or would you still be alone?
Would you be out all night partying to the music and lights?
Or would you be at home?
Would you have gone to university?
Gotten a better job?
Or would you still be where you are today?
Feeling how you feel, I guess it's something I will never know
because everyone and everything I knew faded away
Faded like the stars disappearing into the black sky
Slowly one by one now they're all gone...
And I'm scared of fading too.
