Forgiveness is such a simple word
just like a simple flower or a baby bird
It starts with I'm sorry or please take me back
then it ends up stabbing you in the back.
We are supposed to forgive and forget
but i forgave but could not forget
forget how bad you hurt me
and how many times you cursed me
But never again shall I forgive
because some people just never change
some people change but for the worse
and hardly ever for the good
Forgiveness is such a simple word
and is full of mistakes unheard
Forgiveness is a way of trying to forget
but I will not forget the way you treated me.
