Slip It

by Kevin   Jun 11, 2004

I walk with blind accuracy
through the crowds
dodging all equally
despite their shrouds

my pale face bare
does cause a scare
and help in the evading
of folks with masks
to hide themselves
like secrets aren't for sharing

but every now and then I spy
a face with secrets in it's eyes
a soul that tells a tale of magic
a tale for me if I can catch it

This was a really interesting poem. It created a picture of a world where everyone hid everything from everyone else, atleast thats what i got from it. It was super good. I hope you keep writing, i'll keep reading.

This is about feeling kinda alienated and different from most people and how feeling like this you set yourself outside others in busy places. Until that is you spy someone who looks like they are feeling the same thing...and you want to talk to them....please comment if you have a feeling about it..
