You definitely conveyed a message with this poem. So often many people just see the physical aspects of war such as broken bodies and burned cities. Many people don't stop to see the barren wasteland that war can leave behind in the mind. Those scars so often are so deep they haunt the poor souls who had to endure them. You did a wonderful job portraying that! |
This poem is beautiful. I love it. It's so true, that soldiers have to live with the things that they've seen, done, been a part of. My boyfriend is one of those people, so this one kind of hits home for me. Wonderful. |

What a fantastic piece. Solidiers who come home from war, bring with them a lifetime of horrible memories and i think people often forget that. The things they see would trouble them for some time, i can only imagine. |
