My Time

When my time comes to pass on
I will say bye to my family and friends
I will ask them to be brave and strong
For my death is not wrong but right

I will ask you not to cry for me
For I will watch from up above
I will stay within your hearts
As in my art and in my poems

I will ask you to go on through the days
Please do not stop and stand still
Continue with your lives
I will try to help you in your time of need

All you will have to do is pray to me
I will try to answer in your dreams
I might not get to all of you
But I will try as best as possible

So when my time comes I will say bye
"I will miss you" is what I will say
I will be strong as you are
Closing my eyes and whisper "I Love You"
