Her secret hell

by megann anne   Feb 23, 2009

Her sunken cheek bones, she cannot hide,
she can fake it all, but she's alone inside,
dark brown circles encompass her eyes
every laugh and smile, they're all just lies,
baggy shirts hide her distinct bones
she looks in the mirror and cries and groans
her life feels so empty and only one person knows
pouring her heart out to tear stained pillows
but her pillow shows no comfort to her now
she tries to be strong, but she doesn't know how
she's lost herself and she cant get her back
maybe someday she'll get her life back on track
