Why do some adults
think so lowly of teens?
When they shake their heads
We know what that means
Some malls hate to see us come
We just want respect even just some
We don't take pride in stealing
Crime and mischief are not
What we're all thinking
Why do some people take up smoking?
Even when they know it increases
Your chance of choking
There are so many horrible things
You can get
Many would cause unbelievable fear I bet
Some have quit while other are trying
Some just can't and over their
Early deaths we'll be crying
Why do some drink then drive?
This act is a big taker of lives
It forces parents to hear their biggest fears
When a child fie it brings on many tears
Then the drunken driver
may live on in shame
Knowing they are the one to blame
Why do some people take their own lives?
Their lives were just like
Roller coaster rides
They may take a whole bottle of pills
Or find something else that kills
They pull the trigger of a gun
So longer ready to face the rising sun
Why are we just sitting and
Doing the thinking?
Why don't we get up and
Start doing the doing?
