Best Friends Forever

It seems like yesterday,
when we were little kids,
laughing and playing with barbie dolls,
is something we always did,
annoying everyone and making them leave,
we were two of a kind,
like you wouldnt believe

two little girls just enjoying being here,
not letting anything get in the way,
especially their fears

we both grew up,
the same annoying girls,
joking and laughing together,
in their own little world

her smile would always brighten my day,
she was beautiful in every single way,
like a sister she was always there for me,
a passion for life,
not taking anything to seriously

We never thought this life could ever end,
but for you my beautiful friend,
an invitation to heaven the lord did send

only one girl left now,
with the questions how and why,
we were supposed to live forever,
but God called upon you,
and with him you now patiently lie.
