And I¢??m willing to admit it.
My addiction is as strong
As any drug addict could be strung out on.
It does not contain any tobacco or narcotics,
But it can as easily get you stung out on it.
It attacks you: mentally, physically,
And emotionally.
The toughest player couldn¢??t deny
No matter how hard they tried.
In the end, it will be absurd
Trying to resist the urge.
I have an addiction.
It can be as sweet as honey
Or as sour as a month old milk.
It could be as rich as Bill Gates
Or as cheap as Payless use to be,
Because less, isn¢??t close to what you pay now.
It can be as warming as the summer
Or as cold as the winter.
It can be as painful as a splinter
Or as joyful as a baby¢??s laughter.
I have an addiction,
And it has an effect on me.
Like when you feel a cool breeze
On a drenching sweat summer day,
I am addicted.
Like a fed up land-lord giving a tenant their eviction,
I am addicted.
Like a bee is crazy over some honey
Or a gold-digger about some money,
I am addicted.
Like a person needing medical attention
Who is very sicken,
I am addicted.
In one way or another
These things need one another,
So like a drug to a fiend
Trying to feed it¢??s craving,
I am addicted,
And I¢??m willing to admit it;
L.O.V.E
Has a hold on me
And is my addiction.
