Heart Of Glass

This heart I hold so close,
is so beautiful and so fragile.

Some people don't see,
don't understand
how breakable it is.

It has been broken
and put back together
to many times.

Every time it was smashed,
a little part of it was left behind.

I can feel it breaking
in my chest,
the pain is so real and so deep.

Nothing can stop it,
nothing will hide it.

I give my heart up
way to easily,
but I just can't help it.

So I'm just waiting for it to be broken again.

Broken,
waiting for me to put it back together.

Only to break again.
