Remembering Childhood

by Twisted Mind Broken Soul   Feb 26, 2009

I wish I could go back,
to when I was young,
where there's no broken hearts,
and nothing but fun.

No big responsibilities,
no homework all day,
free to do what you want,
constantly able to play.

No rumors floating,
around the school,
calling you names,
for things you didn't do.

No feeling alone,
because your depressed,
no major problems,
to cause you stress.

Every day I think about how my life as a child was and I wish that some how I could go back to them days so I could live a life with no worries. This poem isn't really that good but it only took like 5 minutes to write.

Even though you state that this was a five minute right, I got the feeling that it wasn't completed. I think you could have expanded more on it. I did like it though; your rhymes were a little off in the first and last stanza, but overall, I thought it was well-written. I would like to see it added to, however.
