Playing The Victim (Triple Doditsu)

by Jenni Marie   Feb 27, 2009

Breaking countless promises
Never knew you were selfish
Using everyone you "love,"
Don't need friends like you

Plastering on pretty smiles
But looks can be deceiving
Standing in your false glory
Think you're the victim

Used to be closest of friends
Can't take your crap anymore
Wont help yourself; how can I?
Get out of my life

**Doditsu-Japanese form consisting of one four lined, non rhyming stanza, syllables going 7-7-7-5.

    Breaking countless promises

-Wow what a great opening I can feel the rage and anger you have at this 'friend' of yours. Shedding his truth about his true colours

    Plastering on pretty smiles
    But looks can be deceiving
    Standing in your false glory
    Think you're the victim

-Well here you have depicted the two faced that this person has and how he always show a false facade infront of others

Used to be closest of friends
    Can't take your crap anymore
Wont help yourself; how can I?
    Get out of my life

-surpassing the limit of taking his crap, just boils you to the point where you which he didn't exist

Overall I like the hidden anger and how it's being poured out

    Excellent Job
    5/5
