Butterflies...

I was walking alone one day..
And came up to me to say...
Something you just could not get out...
I wanted to know but, you revealed no sound...

As i sadly loose that thought of you...
As i wake up to my alarm clock...
I knew something was happening...
But, i have never felt this feeling...

I get drowned in the halls...
Sadly reaching for you hand...
You grasp it tight...
But, it slipped away and i lost my sight....

As i trip upon a loose cord...
And fall into you arms...
I come to find you break my fall...
But, it was acually the floor...

Your running through my mind...
And you wont go away...
Its like your on repeat...
And i keep hitting play...

But, the worst part is...
I wish i was yours...
But, she has you...
As these emotions pour...

Maybe, one day you will see
You give me butterflies in my tummy...
