Yesterday and Today

Two nights ago I layed in slumber.
I dreamed of angels to my delight.
A gaze from one, came my way,
And it was love, at first sight.

Yesterday, I met my Angel,
While shopping at the mall,
And earlier this morning,
I waited for her call.

Yesterday, She looked radiant,
Lavishly lit like fire.
So pristine at eight-teen,
My only true desire.

Yesterday, I let her know,
I think she understood.
I looked into her eyes and said,
"Forever, and For Good."

Today, I make a vow,
That I will never depart;
I'll love her forevermore,
And be the keeper of her heart...

Today, I want to say,
That no matter where we are,
When in need of good luck,
I will be her shooting star...

Today, She needs to know,
That if her ambitions fray,
She can squeeze and hold, onto my hand,
And I will lead the way.

Today, Is like the ocean,
To big to comprehend,
But I give my ever lasting love,
And I'll be here 'till the end.
