True Blessing

Our times of late were tough,
Because I couldn't see the light,
But not once did you give up,
You walked beside me through the night.

When my heart was like a stone,
And all I wanted was to die,
You began to pull me closer,
And this stone heart began to cry

You brought up moments from our past
Great times we shared before,
Then you gave me hope for the future,
In that the Lord shall give us more.

I don't know how to repay you,
But I hope you have awhile,
Because I fall behind in payment,
Each and everytime you smile.

Now I write this to you my Carebear,
With all the love thats in this world,
I appreciate you more than ever,
And I pray that your my girl.
