The Autumn Breeze.

by Thepainwithinme   Mar 4, 2009

The warm air blows,
Through my soft hair.
This feeling flows.
While you're standing there.

Your lips crash down on mine.
Suddenly I feel alright.
Suddenly every thing's fine.
It seems my hearts lost sight.

And then you break away.
Like I've done something wrong.
There's nothing left to say.
I sing my lonely song.

You've left my heart so cold.
Oh how you've been so bold.
To dart away, And not look behind.
We're you afraid of what you would find?

Me bleeding, laying on the floor.
Why did you leave, and slam the door?
The autumn breeze fills my head.
It makes me realize that now I'm dead.

I reach out for you,
But find you too far.
I don't know what to do.
But to hide my scars.

Then another love comes,
And puts me back together.
We both were victims.
Of a love so bitter.

Again, The Autumn draft flies.
I'm done with his lies.
Now my heart beats for you.
My mind races for someone new.
