being the hero
i never knew existed
but i knew how fragile you were
making me your strong place
for that my love grew
your kisses were intoxicating
drugging me with your love
leaving your mark on me
like a scar that doesn't fade
the love of my life
the one to put the rest in the dust
and on a pedestal you'll stay
for i love you
though it's ended
i no longer live in your heart
you will remain in mine
and if by some miracle
