In the eyes of those who love you

by Lily   Mar 5, 2009

And its a long walk down that road,
its cold out, pitch black.
every star being hidden by the darkest clouds
you'll be walking alone, the sound of your feet the only real noise you'll hear for miles.
you'll stop from time to time and stand completely still.
Terrified, wishing you could see.
Your thoughts come out from hiding. you cant avoid them now.
this is your last Chance to make everything okay,
this is your last chance to make all the pain go away.
Scared to tears by your own breath.
vanes pumping with morphine and Valium
They'll be a lump in your throat and you'll fall to the floor,
If you look the sky you'll be able to see the faint out line of tree tops,
but otherwise total darkness.
you'll manage to pick your self up and carry on walking,
for what seems like forever
It wont be the struggle that everyone thinks it will,
The lump in your throat will die away,
the stars will shine their way through
and walking wont seem to difficult anymore.
Taking those last few steps you'll feel so relived,
So unsure why you felt so scared.
Theres less and less tress now,
you can clearly see the shape of a barrier
You've finally excepted that this is the end of the road
You'll place your foot on the broken wooden step,
and everything now fits into place,
With a slight hop & your over the over side.
It'll feel good wont it, you'll walk for a while and you will never feel that happy again,
But then fall down only to wake up
your so called friends and family saw you crossing and bough you back.
And now not only do you have to walk to down the road, But you have to down down it knowing everybody knows you walked up it in the first place.
