How I wish to sleep forever

Never to wake again

To escape it all for good

Reality is not a friend

Drama and pointless squabbles put to end

Alive yet unaware of what is going on around me

Peaceful and dreaming it's how I want to be

Who on earth could possibly love this bleek reality?

The scales are always tipped it seems

Is it so wrong to want endless dreams?

To escape the torment before you go insane?

Before all the strength you're fighting to keep is drained?

I just want those mercifully sweet endless Zzzz's.....
