You

by Dani Ward   Jun 11, 2004

It’s hard to believe that You could love me so much,
I have sinned beyond count but still feel Your touch.
A long time ago You walked among men,
and died on the cross to pay for my sin.
I’m so thankful that I can worship You,
when things are rough You help me get through.
I could never measure up to Your grace,
I would be ashamed to show You my face.
I give thanks for all the love that You have for me,
if only all others in this world could see.
Then this world wouldn’t be so bad,
I just wish they could see what they could have.
All they have to do is call on Your name,
say they believe in You and ask You to take away their shame.
Lord You are so wonderful and grand,
I can’t wait for You to take me by the hand.
And for You to take me home,
so in this land I will no longer have to roam.
