Unlasting love

by nichole   Jun 11, 2004

The happiness in your eyes,
the tenderness of your touch,
the taste upon your lips,
i love you so very much.

the tears running down my eyes,
as i watch you with her,
the way you stare at me so intently,
but every things a blur.

i watch you,
as you lean forward,
you kiss her,
just like you kissed me before.

you look at me just before your lips meet,
as if to rub it in my face,
its like your saying ,
"I found someone else to take your place."

you see my eyes fill with water,
as you laugh with dismay,
and that hurts worse,
than anything you could ever say.

you pushed me down a cliff,
and watched me fall all the way down,
then you wonder why,
on my face lies a frown.

i used to see so very much,
whenever i looked into your eyes,
i thought you felt the same too,
but i was wrong i realize.

does your heart feel no feeling,
do your eyes see no pain,
do your hands feel nothing,
does your nose not smell the rain.

are you oblivious to your surroundings,
do you not see me wishing i could die,
do you just think it is funny,
when my eyes fill up and i cry.

do you like to bring me down,
do you think it is OK,
for me to sit there,
and listen to all the horrible things you say?

is this just a one time thing,
you playing with my heart,
or did you never mean,
for us to part.

does my heart look like a toy,
for you to throw around,
i thought i was in love,
when it was only you that i found
