Subtle Motivations

by Beautiful Chaos   Mar 14, 2009

The sun, it never asks me why
My eyes are filled with tears to cry
It only longs to warm me through
Inspires strength that's overdue

The moon and all her little stars
Arousing dreams, erasing scars
Escape into their mystic view
Inspires strength that's overdue

A flower never hides from death
Such beauty till their dying breath
An ever blooming point of view
Inspires strength that's overdue

A little bee, a silent drone
Creating sweetness of their own
A weakness that we misconstrue
Inspires strength that's overdue

Emerald, waving grasses green
Dancing within the wind unseen
Calling forth freedom we once knew
Inspires strength that's overdue

Every inch of this waking world
Each sleeping dream and hope unfurled
Carries us forward, pushes through
Inspires strength that's overdue
