Single Tear

by Ren   Mar 15, 2009

To shed that single tear,
Makes the world clear again,
No more heavy heart,
Or the pain of holding it in.
To shed that single tear,
Sends the rest on their way,
Your entire body shaking,
Relief filling your day.
To shed that single tear,
Opens your shield to break down and cry,
But what happens when that tear,
That one, single tear,
Won't come at all..
No matter how hard you try?

This is beautiful. so much truth in here and the observation is spot on. It doesn't matter how hard we try, how strong we try to be it literally just takes one to fall and the rest follows and we open up like a beer on a hot day.

Added to favs, I REALLY love this write.

Then you take all that sadness, and then write it down. Then let go of that frown. Cause you should be happy not sad at all. Not having to let even a single tear fall. So put up a grin from ear to ear. And let go of all your sadness and fears. They just hold you down don't ya see. Well I suppose that's all of the advice from me. :)
