Lifeless
Void of any color
Shape or substance
Just an echo
A passing thought

We ask ourselves these questions over and over ... and wonder why love just wasn't enough. I feel the sadness here ...

A wisp of hair

A wrenching reminder

A shoulder turned ... makes the blood run coldly through our veins. And the reality that we are left alone ... standing holding just memories.

Jeannie there is so much emotion in this piece. If one has lived this ... they know how it tears at your heart. Shreds you life into pieces and leaves you alone ... wondering ... what went wrong.
