Yes I remember this poem as a win on the main boards and an entry in the club poems I do not recall commenting on it then as there seemed to be a lot going on. I feel it was great having it on the front page, and I am proud to be in the same club as a talented poet and animator.

Very well written, Johnny boy. I love picturing each line and the expression on the face of the man you describe. Given the objects and activities at play, an essence of time is permitted.. old and slow, yet timeless.
