Trapped In Her Own Little World

by Lost and Delirious   Mar 17, 2009

She screams and she cries
she shakes and she bleeds
but no one notices
no one even cares.

She wants someone to see,
she wants someone to notice
that she's not okay,
as much as she wants to be - she's not.

Do you see her,
her with her hair covering her face?

Do you see her,
her with her blackened eyes?

Do you see her,
her with her fractured heart?

If you could read her thoughts,
if you could just see inside her mind
even just for a moment,
maybe you would get it.

She screams and she cries
she shakes and she bleeds
but no one notices
no one even cares.

She wants that one person
that truly understands her,
but when she tries to find them,
she get screwed over - and her heart is ripped again.
How much can one lone heart take?

Do you see her,
her with her hair covering her face?

Do you see her,
her with her blackened eyes?

Do you see her,
her with her fractured heart?

If she can't handle it anymore
what will she do?
No one can really help her,
no one can truly understand the girl trapped in her own little world.
