When he Gave up on us (Edited version)

by TheRedWomanAndherBagofLife   Mar 17, 2009

I could see it from his eyes when he gave up on us; his eyes turn so tediously-frosty and absent.

I could feel it from his tone; it became harshly-quick and sloppily deep as if he had so much to say but nowhere to keep.

I could hear it from his voice when he gave up on us; its warmly-fervent and its ardour loses power...

He'd sigh often, and my heart would skip a beat; his broad chest would carefully move enlightens to me,
"hopes are no more there to seek".

Deeper I looked at him with wide curious eyes,
Leaving me with something I didn't want to feel- he is right.

I shivered all the worries away and embraced him with a bright lovely smile for a close-loving hug...

And so did his trunk move an inch, and the eyebrows of his took a pinch.
